‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
Gary the electrician, was disturbed by his spouse,
“Gary, don’t you think these lights are too bright?
Being an electrician, well I thought that you might…
Be able to find us a lighting solution,
To stop all this brightness, stop all this confusion.”
It was clear what to do, he was onto a winner,
Gary said, “all we need is a dimmer!”
But knowing his wife wouldn’t be easily pleased,
He said, “wait, how many dimmers will we need?”
Well, her mind went mad – she didn’t know what to do,
“Could be anywhere from 3 up to 32!...
I want to dim the lounge and I want to dim the loo,
I actually want to brighten up the hallway too,
And I want to dim from both sides of the bed,
So your night time reading lights won’t hurt my head”
Overwhelmed with her response, Gary said “right,
I guess I won’t be sleeping tonight.”
He took to Facebook to ask his fellow spark,
“Which LED dimming companies can save us from the dark?”
His friend said “that’s easy, there’s only one that will do it,
If you want to dim multiple points, and have no lamp limit,
No flicker or buzz, no complicated wiring,”
(After all, what electrician wants a job that tiring?),
So, Gary very quickly got on his computer,
And searched for every product he knew would suit her,
He pressed ‘add to basket’ - he just couldn’t stop,

He spent all of Christmas, meeting her requests,
Installing the products, to what he knew was his best,
He woke up his wife, to show her what he’d done,
And from her facial expressions, he knew he had won.
“I can’t believe you did it, oh Gary you’re my hero,
It even dims all the way down to zero!”
He exclaimed to her, tired but full of delight,
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
